Aftermarket modification is a fun and creative way to express personal taste, but when it comes to tuning a Ferrari, the results are often short of classy. Not so with the new CTR Program for the spectacular 458 Italia. Vorsteiner’s Classic Tuning Restoration Program, announced at the 2025 SEMA Show as an almost separate entity, provides exotic and high-end cars with new looks and, in some cases, mechanical upgrades. This Fezza is the first, but more CTR creations will follow. Unlike some tuners whose names begin with ‘M’ and almost rhyme with ‘sorry,’ Vorsteiner’s relatively subdued approach appears to take inspiration from the original source, with the 458 boasting grey paint and a yellow stripe that could have come from the 812 Competizione, not to mention a front bumper that looks not dissimilar from the limited-run V12 Ferrari either. But don’t fall in love just yet – affection for the kit will affect your net worth.
Genuine Aerodynamic Benefits

Above the newly reworked front bumper with its integrated splitter is a new hood with a 458 Speciale-inspired S-duct, and according to Vorsteiner President Daniel Song, who spoke with Car and Driver at the SEMA Show, this is functional, directing air through the lower intake and out the hood to increase downforce. In addition, the wider, vented front fender tops are claimed to improve cooling performance, while extraction vents behind the wheels aid in cooling the brakes. Despite these relatively hardcore changes, the track width of the 458 Italia is unchanged, preserving its fantastic steering geometry. Further back, carbon fiber side skirts visually lower the supercar, while the vented (non-functional) rear bumper houses an integrated carbon fiber diffuser with redesigned exhaust outlets that can fit either the standard system or an aftermarket setup. Finally, a subtle wing sits atop the rear deck, while forged magnesium monoblock VMM-102 wheels (20-inch in front, 21-inch at the rear) reduce unsprung weight to further enhance driving dynamics. And now we must talk pricing, because that will significantly reduce the weight of your wallet, too.
Pricing Fit For A Prancing Horse

Unlike most Vorsteiner kits, the CTR Program does not allow for those balling on a budget to purchase individual items, and the entire kit starts at $64,950. That’s for 1×1 gloss carbon fiber and excludes installation, which costs at least another $4,550. Opt for satin carbon fiber, and the price jumps to $71,445, while forged carbon costs $77,950. Oh, and you still need to budget for wheels – in this spec, they cost $17,480, with custom wheels priced on application. Custom paint, protection films, vinyl wraps, or liveries cost extra too. Inside, upholstery packages start at $18,500, while mechanical enhancements like an exhaust, headers, tune, suspension, and brakes are priced on enquiry. We shudder to think.

Look, modifying any car properly isn’t cheap, and doing so with a Ferrari will give your accountant sleepless nights, but when the execution is as good as this – these are the same people behind Gunther Werks, after all – the results are satisfying enough to justify keeping your kids from attending college. Or are we reading this all wrong, and the very idea of modifying Maranello’s masterpieces should be banished from the collective consciousness? Let us know in the comments below.
